Most posters are thin and printed on sheets less than 1/16” inch thick. These thin posters fit perfectly in our all our “SwingSnaps” standard poster snap frames. But if you’re planning to mount your prints or already have posters and signage mounted on boards, we build and assemble aluminum, front loading snap frames to hold these prints up to 1/4” thick.

We have small snap frames, large snap frames and oversize snap frame displays to fit whatever your print size; from popular 8 1/2 x11, 11x17, 22x28, 24x36, 40x60 to oversize 48 x 96 posters. We know that some customers with large
format prints prefer to mount these large size posters onto rigid substrates to prevent any potential buckling of the thin paper print. This may happen when there is no acrylic overlay to protect the print.

Indoor or Outdoor Snap Frames
You can order Wall Mounted Poster Snaps for indoors or outdoors. The substrate that your poster is mounted on will determine the suitability of whether it can handle the outdoor, exterior elements. If your poster is mounted on standard foamcore, card or cardboard stock, it will not hold up well outdoors. But other substrates will; Gater Board, Sintra, Duraplast and other boards.
Check with your printer about laminating and poster mounting options.

How to Order
When ordering, each Snap Frame will have the drop down menu where you can choose the thickness of your insert; 1/8”, 3/16”, and 1/4”.
All standard Aluminum Snap frames are built and assembled up to 1/16” print thickness. Check the print thickness, needed otherwise a standard thin poster snap frame will be shipped.
